Bulls to host ‘Derrick Rose Night’ in January

The Chicago Bulls will honor Derrick Rose with a special celebration this season after the 16-year NBA star announced his retirement from basketball last week.
The Bulls will host “Derrick Rose Night” on Jan. 4, 2025 during their game against the New York Knicks at the United Center. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau coached Rose in Chicago, Minnesota and New York.

Selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by his hometown Chicago, Rose spent seven seasons with the Bulls and three with the Knicks, among other stops.
